Cherry trees are starting to blossom, the sun is shining over the lake...spring is on its way! And what better place to spend it than in Wanaka, where you can enjoy and experience both summer and winter activities as well as getting involved in some local events.
For a classic Wanaka activity why not make the most of the latter part of the ski season and head up the slopes for some spring skiing or boarding? Or dust the bikes off and go for a mountain bike exploring the Hikuwai trail network or Dean's bank...you could even jump into the lake for a blast in the cold water! Here at Fearless we have all the gear you need to get you out there feeling and looking good.
As we move further into spring, Wanaka is host to some exciting events to get involved in.
From the 26th - 31st October the Wao Summit will be taking place. It's an interactive annual event that focuses on creating sustainable positive change covering areas such as regenerative tourism, climate action, forestry, mental health and much more...check it out and get your tickets to be inspired as we move into the future!
Or for those wanting to exercise their competitive juices, the OSM Challenge Wanaka Multi is running under Level Two restrictions on the 30th of October. Even if you're not racing, head down to the lake front and support the athletes as they lace up their shoes, clip into their pedals and grab a paddle to run, bike and kayak along the 80km course.
Let's try and make this spring a good one, taking care of each other and making the most of the beautiful places and people that are around us!
Here at Fearless we're looking forward to seeing you in store this spring and help kit you out for your next adventure.
