Our Top 6 Fitness Podcasts For 2021

When it comes to health and fitness podcasts, there really is something for everyone. Vegan gym rats, mums who love running, yoga and meditation junkies, golf whizz's . . . There's even a show that specialises in workout comedy.

These are 5 of Fearless's favourite podcasts for 2021

1. Work, Play, Love

Best for: The busy athlete

Lauren Fleshman and Jesse Thomas are world class professional endurance athletes, authors, speakers, and co-own a nationally distributed food products business called Picky Bars. They also happen to be married, still, and are raising two small children. They use their experience, stories, writing, and humor to answer to answer listener questions about sports, family, business, and the balance between all three! It's a circus, but hey, we're all in it together!

2. Hurdle

Best for: The person who turns fitness when stressed

One reason Hurdle is awesome: Host/trainer/writer Emily Abbate dedicates each episode to speaking with "badass humans who got through tough times, leaning into wellness as an outlet," as the podcast description explains. The entire show is about keeping it real and pushing forward.

Abbate's guests talk about everything from their big wins to how they’ve gotten through some of life’s toughest moments. On the show, you can expect vulnerability, motivation, and candid discussions with everyone from top athletes to aspiring entrepreneurs on what it really takes to follow your passions.

3. Bulletproof Radio

Best for: The mindful athlete at any level

The host and Bulletproof founder, Dave Asprey is an author, "biohacker," and researcher who isn’t afraid to experiment on himself or call on vocal experts to break down what he hasn’t tried out yet. And he does it all to keep listeners in the loop about all the strategies out there to reach their fitness and health goals.

Bulletproof Radio was born out of a 20-year single-minded crusade to upgrade the human being using every available technology. It distills the knowledge of world-class doctors, biochemists, scientists, Olympic nutritionists, meditation experts, and mavericks. Dave has spent more than $1M on personal health experiments. From private brain EEG facilities hidden in a Canadian forest to remote monasteries in Tibet, from Silicon Valley to the Andes, high-tech entrepreneur Dave Asprey used hacking techniques and tried everything himself, obsessively focused on discovering: What are the simplest things you can do to be better at everything?

It used to take a lifetime to radically rewire the human body and mind. Technology has changed the rules. Follow along as Dave Asprey and guests provide you with everything you need to upgrade your mind, body, and life.

4. The Dumbells

Best for: The stressed-out athlete

A funny fitness podcast where comedian/hosts Eugene Cordero and Ryan Stanger guide your life towards Training Dirty, Eating Clean and Living In-Between. Topics include training, nutrition, and lifestyle topics—including executing goals and exercise class nightmares. Their discussions about correcting lifting form include frequent asides, funny voices, and inside jokes (that they’ll fill you in on) making you feel like a part of their hilarious squad.

5. Found My Fitness

Best for: The curious athlete

Promoting strategies to increase health, well-being, cognitive and physical performance through deeper understandings of biology, Rhonda Patrick, Ph.D. is here to tell you about the cells, caloric restrictions, and amino acids that play into fitness—with the help of additional professionals and doctors. By the 20-minute mark, you’ll find yourself questioning why you never considered cellular senescence or mitochondrial dysfunction before. Yes, some of the terms are a mouthful, but the explanations are digestible and addictive.

6. The Rich Roll Podcast
